We build the PolkTX directory from public records — Texas sales-tax permits, county and city filings — so every business operating in Polk County gets a listing whether or not anyone asks for one. That means most listings start out thin: a name, a category, maybe an address.
Claiming yours hands you the keys. You add the hours, the phone number people should actually call, photos, and a description in your own words. It costs nothing, and it stays free.
How it works
Find your listing and submit the form
Tell us the business name and how to reach you. If we don't have a listing for you yet, we'll create one.
We verify you're connected to the business
Usually a quick call to the business phone number already on public record, or an email to an address at your domain. This is the only thing standing between your listing and someone else editing it, so we don't skip it.
You get editing access
Update hours, add photos, list your services, correct anything that's wrong. Changes go live after a quick review — usually the same day.
Upgrade later if you want to
Claiming is free forever. If you'd rather stand out — photos on the category page, top placement, homepage rotation — those are paid options you can add any time. Never required.
